HelloHas anyone ever hear of a M.M. Kelton etching press? If you have, can you tell me anything about it? Is it worth pursuing? The etching press is described as being a floor model made in New York around 1920. The Press bed is 20 X 48 and has a 60 inch

drive wheel. Please help me out if know anything! Thanks, Tim

i have one. i to would like to know more about the press. i acquired it '90. with minimal research found i am missing the blanket arms which attach to the top two cross supports.
24x48" bed. works well, heavy as hell. the date of your inquiry makes me think you've moved on by now.

I have a M.M.Kelton etching press (20x48). Fully functional.
Supposedly it was used for printing banknotes pre-civil war
I need to find out what this is worth

I have a smaller one- 24" x 40". What I know of the company is they were on Baker St in NYC around the turn of the century, 1900's. I have heard that each press is registered with the Smithsonian, but have no proof or any leads on research of this! Yes I'd like to know more too.

I also have access to M M Kelton press.
Looking to find the value on it. I may keep it as I use to do some printmaking in college.
