Also, is it possible to re-use plates from a press with Autoplate system ? Someone has told our clients that plates once bent and inserted in an Autoplate system press cannot be used again. Is that true ?

well:
full autoplate , known as APC is when you put the plate on the press for every unit and press one button for all to be changed.
semi APC or as Hiedelberg call it Autoplate is a system that will lock the plates in . one by one as you press a button for head & tail clamps to close.

In any way , if paltes are in good condition you can reuse them but it is cheaper to make new - the time on the press is expensive ...
what is best for you ? tell me who you are and what you do and i will try & help

for any other help if needed , you can call me on +972545443004
i will be happy to help

when you press the button it will lock the plate in the right position - not auto register !
the APC & SAPC have nothing to do with the image - only the plate according to register pins
is the image is wrong on the plates or in wrong position - it will not fix it
