please could you tell me if there actually is/was a foil print company that sold their prints in 'solid brass' frames. i bought a supposedly vintage, made in England, foil print, and i think i've been 'had'. it's supposedly made by a english company called Rege. thanks Author: tallulah

Hi! I have 4 prints marked Dufex prints, F J Warren Ltd., Hitchin Herts, Printed in England. It measures 8"1/4 by 6"1/4. The prints have the number W8729M, W9149M The Jetty, Lynmouth, W9286M Cockington Forge and W8823M. Do you have informations on this prints, year or value? Thanks! Isabelle Author: Isabelle

As I said in response to the poster who enquired about a similar print in the immediately-previous posting to the Forum, the Dufex prints are usually produced in a run of at least 3000, which is not to say that all 3000 (or more) of every design sells.
Like postage stamps, values can vary tremdously, but in general they don't REsell for more than their purchase price, but a collector will obviously pay whatever he/she can afford to complete a set.
